Hello and good day to you all.
We held a special rememberance IDAHOT Day on the 17th May at Merton Civic Centre.
With over 30 people attending even the rain didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of thepeople who turned up at Morden Civic Centre to support International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia.
With opening speeches from Mayor Brenda Fraser and Cllr Edith Macaulay, both supports of the Merton LGBT+ Forum, we held a two minute silence while the rainbow flag was raised.
Further speeches from myself and Natalie followed and a chance for people to network and talk about the events of the day and the great work we at the Forum have been doing these past two years.
As I previously mentioned the Forum Newsletter is finished it and its published, live here on the website and our FaceBook and Twitter pages.
